Within hours of the launch of the latest iPhone 3G S the guys from iFixit.com have gone and done it again: stripped the iPhone down to it’s component parts.
Last year with the launch of the iPhone 3G they travelled to New Zealand and had stripped it and posted the results to the site before people in California had gone to bed the previous day. This time the travel budget was cut down a bit so they flew to London. The ‘teardown’ was complete and posted to the website by midday EST, or just as the iPhone 3G S was going on sale in San Francisco.
