The iPhone is an iconic gadget at the pinnacle of fashion, so why not protect it with a designer case? I have been using the Proporta Ted Baker case for some time now and find it a great iPhone accessory, especially at the local bar where we all have out phones on show (for potential thieves).
The Ted Baker is a flip style case with full phone coverage leaving just a cutout for the display and the earpiece. The cover is secured by 2 stud poppers, which after many months of use still work perfectly.
The bottom of the case has a slot for the 31 pin iPhone USB connector. The case will not allow the phone to be placed in any of the docks, it needs to be removed, or you need to use the USB connector.
On the back of the case there is a hole for the camera to take a picture, you may need to jiggle the iPhone a bit to get an unobstructed view when framing your picture.
The top of the case has a hole allowing access to the headset socket. The case really needs to be shut when connecting the headset, but can be opened with the headset plugged in.
Inside the case there are 2 slots for credit cards. These are a bit tight at first but ease with use, and also add a little extra protection to the screen.
In use I found that the design of the case meant that I had trouble tapping at the bottom or the right of the screen because of the positioning of the cutout. This was irritating, but not critical.
At $37.95 or £29.95 the Proporta Ted Baker case adds some style to your iPhone whilst affording some good protection. Click here for more details on the Proporta site.
