iSlash is incredibly simple in terms of what you need to do but also incredibly addictive and challenging. The basic premise is that you have a bunch of ninja stars bouncing around on a piece of wood and you have to slash away at the wood with your finger to reduce it to a certain size to complete the level – hit a star en-route and you need to start the level again. The first few levels are as simple as it sounds but this is just to get you used to the controls. It soon gets much trickier.

Pinball is fun. It’s the simple premise that makes it fun – press some buttons to make some flippers flip with the aim of not losing the ball. Oh, there are lots of fun things that can happen in between to rack up your points too!
Pinball, as a game, is something I feel transfers well to the iPhone (and iPad) – the screen is the right shape and you only need two ‘buttons’ to play the whole thing. GameProm already have a handful of other Pinball games which look good and work well and have teamed up with the metal band Slayer for the theme of this release.

The demand for the iPad is so high that Apple have been having to continually revise international launch dates and extend US shipping dates. Though it is possible to buy iPads in the Apple stores in the USA.
